In the Middle Ages Kutna Hora was the second in importance and wealth of the city in the Czech kingdom. In the XIII century it was mined one-third of the total European silver. In Kutna Hora and the Royal Mint and minted penny Prague. The main temple is dedicated to sv.Barbare and sv.Yakubu - the patron saint of miners. The streets of Kutna Hora narrow and very easy to get lost: the city was built randomly during the so-called "silver fever".
During the tour to Kutna Hora, you will learn why the local mint called Italian and what relation to the founding of the city have Cistercians why temple sv.Yakuba only one tower, and why miners were white cloaks. You visit the chilling ossuary in Sedlec, which holds the remains of more than 40,000 chelovek.Zamok Czech Šternberk stands on a cliff above the river Sazavou from the XIII century. Since its founding, and today it belongs to the same genus. And today here lives Count Zdeněk Sternberg. Part of the castle open to the public. You can see how aristocrats lived in the XIX and early XX century, from which it ate and slept on anything in those days than entertain themselves in their spare time, it looked like the first electrical lighting. You become acquainted with the history of the genus Sternberg, as well as be able to see a unique collection of engravings of the Thirty Years War.
