The town of Cesky Krumlov in southern Bohemia is located in the foothills of the Blanský Forest and Bohemian Forest, in the meanders of the Vltava River. All historical center (around 300 houses) is an architectural monument. Krumlov castle complex - the second largest in the Czech Republic and is second only to Prague Castle. Time here seems to have stopped. Vitus Gothic cathedral, Renaissance town hall, the theater of the Baroque era, the magnificent French Park, a unique mantle Bridge - these are just some of the attractions of the city. But most importantly, here you can feel in a real fairy tale.
During excursions to Cesky Krumlov, you will learn where are covered corridors that permeate the castle, a terrible crime committed in Krumlov mad son of Emperor Rudolf II, and who this White Lady. You will admire the panorama of the city from the viewing platforms will be able to try the local beer Eggenberg or visit the company store factory Kuhinor.
Hluboka Castle - one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic. Its present appearance he gained after the reconstruction of the XIX century, started Schwarzenberg. For the sample they took Huggie primarily Windsor. Today Hluboka is a public museum. Here you will find the richly decorated room, trophies former owners, the largest Czech collection of tapestries, intricate parquet from different kinds of wood, furniture XVIII-XIX centuries, a collection of porcelain and armor.
Important! Like most castles, Hluboka is located on a high hill. But believe me: effort spent on the rise, to stand. Just do not forget to put on comfortable shoes.
