France, Cites

There are a lot of amazing places to visit in France including natural attractins, breathtaking sights and monuments and beautiful and romantic cities, towns and charming villages.., Paris with a world famous Eiffel Tour and Notre Dame Cathedral, Nice - one of the most popular tourist destination washed by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Cannes - a seaside festival city, Lyon - the capital of the Rhone-Alpes region and so on,

Paris
Paris, one of the most heavily touristed cities in the world, fascinates visitors with its architecture, its 6 500 years of history and particularly the magic in the air, which some visitors notice faster than others.
The City of love is multifaceted, full of contrasts but never boring. Impressive attractions stand alongside romance, countless shopping opportunities, restaurants without end from «très» chic in the evening to simple at noon. The many lights of the city turn an evening stroll into an especially romantic experience and those looking for some excitement should check out Paris´ wonderful nightlife. Paris is ideal for exploring on foot: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Notre Dame, these are also mandatory sights. Shopping fans simply must add the «Galeries Lafayette» and the «Au Printemps» department store with its terrace offering a panoramic view.
Nice
Nice is the fifth most populous city in France and the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes departement. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 13 kilometres (8 miles) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well. The city is nicknamed Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

The natural beauty of the Nice area and its mild Mediterranean climate came to the attention of the English upper classes in the second half of the 18th century, when an increasing number of aristocratic families took to spending their winters there. The city's main seaside promenade, the Promenade des Anglais ("Walkway of the English') owes its name to visitors to the resort. For decades now, the picturesque Nicean surroundings have attracted not only those in search of relaxation, but also those seeking inspiration.
Cannes
Cannes is a city located on the French Riviera. It is a commune of France located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, and host city of the annual Cannes Film Festival, Midem, and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The city is known for its association with the rich and famous, its luxury hotels and restaurants, and for several conferences. On 3 November 2011 it also played host to the G20 organisation of industrialised nations.
